- We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA on the pages learners use: learning experiences, on learn.veurone.com, on your website and in your LMS, and videos on watch.veurone.com.
- We tested them ourselves on 27 October 2026. No outside auditor has checked them.
- Of the 52 criteria that apply, 43 are met, 8 are met in part and 1 wasn’t tested. Below is what isn’t met yet.
1. What works for learners
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible outline. Dragging always has a button or a tap instead.
- Videos have captions made from the narration. Audio has a transcript.
- Questions, tabs and forms are labelled for screen readers, and feedback is read out.
- Pages fit a 320-pixel screen, zoom, and follow the device’s reduced-motion setting.
- There are no time limits.
- The page is in the course’s language.
2. What doesn’t work yet
- “Up next” on the course cover is orange text at 3.1:1 contrast, under the 4.5:1 WCAG asks for.
- The keyboard focus outline and the edges of text boxes are lighter than 3:1 against the page.
- After a learner picks an answer, keyboard focus goes back to the page, so a screen reader can lose its place.
- A finished lesson shows a tick in the lesson list, but a screen reader doesn’t hear that it’s done.
- A looping animation starts by itself, and can’t be paused where it plays as a plain video.
- There’s no audio description track for videos.
3. What’s up to you
- Write alt text for each picture in Veurone Studio.
- Check the captions, and say in the narration what matters on screen.
- Pick brand colours with enough contrast. We tested Veurone’s own.
4. veurone.com and Veurone Studio
On veurone.com, we ran automated checks on 11 pages. Some small grey and orange text is under 4.5:1 contrast, at 3.3 to 3.6:1.
This statement doesn’t cover the Veurone Studio editor yet.
5. How we tested
A sample learning experience with a video, text, a tip, a picture, a question, tabs, steps, cards, ordering, matching, a gap to fill, the final quiz and the sign-up form. We used Deque’s axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, the keyboard alone, a 320-pixel screen and WCAG’s text spacing, in Chrome on macOS. We haven’t tested with a screen reader yet. The full results are in the conformance report.
